Si-o-se-pol Bridge

The longest of Isfahan's historic bridges, Si-o-se-pol carries thirty-three arches across the Zayandeh river.
It is a meeting place as much as a crossing. On good evenings men gather under the spans to sing, their voices echoing off the water and the brick. Walk it slowly, after dark.
